That's what I'm thinking. It ran well for a week, though.

it is actually amazing how much better my score becomes when I am not getting the 6701/2 WU's and i have internet all day long.

latest in my saga against Qwest, called a couple of days ago, was told while I was on the phone with the Tech people that I needed to install cat5 cable in my house to get rid of the problem, when I told them that I had it the instantly told me that there was an outage in my area.......just ridiculous..nay...recockulous....

This coming week should show a slight increase in production, while its user is on vacation, one of the i7 machines in my fleet will be running 24/7, instead of being turned off at night.

well well, We're back. I'm not sure how lo9ng tho as the site is a little sick I think. As far as the folding team, we've lost Elrado to a commercial operation. there are still 6 of us hanging on, but I don't know for how much longer the others will stay. I've no desire to leave, and unless the remaining members started a new team I don't think I will. anyway those of us that remain need to find a more stable point of contact, unless it's just Goat and I. Then we've got one?

Ya, if this site goes down, people can always use my fragaholic.net web site. Due to some spamming on the web site, I had to disable automatic registration approvals...so if anyone registers on my site, maybe send me a quick email at goatboy@fragaholic.net to let me know.

As for the dwindling number of folders on this team...I too have considered moving to another team, but I'm sticking with my buddy CheeZ.

A big part of me doesn't want to switch because I've built up this 6.5 year account now.

The other part of me doesn't want to switch because I don't really care about teams. So I'm here forever, until Folding ends.

Did we really lose elrado?

:/

No, not entirely. I just posted at Silent But Deadly, which is Goatboy's website. Along with CheeZmonZter, it is our surrogate forum site when Beefy's World goes down. Bookmark it now! If you wish to remain in touch.

I'm going to stick with evga's folding team for a while. My son pointed out that they are offering some small economic incentive to fold with them while they are on the hunt for the number one team position. I suppose I'll let him have whatever credits we accumulate while the competition lasts. At this point it will be about 1.2 Months.

Also, I'm a bit embarrassed that I didn't do a proper search of Johnerz FAH contributions after he dissapeared from the team. I know what I was doing wrong now, but that is beside the point, which is, that after joining evga's team, I discovered that Johnerz switched to that team when he left BW! The scumbag didn't even have the guts to tell us! He never even responded to a PM I had sent him at Extreme Overclocking's forums, which he frequents regularly. I hope he sticks around long enough at evga's team for me to pass him AGAIN!

On that note, I may pass him much sooner than I thought. I added the switch to the six-core i7 SMP client and, now every other day or so I register an update with 60, 70 or even 80+K points! My 24hr Average is now over 72K, which has earned me currently 17th in terms of production. That's not too shabby for a team with over 1,000 active users, in my opinion. Sorry to be going on and on about my contri's to another team. I'm just trying to give my son a little boost to his ego and his wallet, too.

I'm atill here too, we keep having random heat waves, as soon as I go to turn folding back on the heat spikes in the high 30's. So I will be folding more as soon as it decides to cool down a bit more.

If I have to get up and turn off a computer because I am sweating due to 32'C ambient room temperature... Then off they go.

I used to have a 1200BTU portable air conditioner in my room, witch was working with our central air to keep the room cool. But I nearly went deaf with 3-4 computers and the air going :P

Anyways, I will be back.
